I have this Blogger more for commenting than posting (I have a ton of blogs).

I am an artist, designer, biologist and soon to be Medical Lab Technology student in Canada.

If you're looking for Amy Pronovost the artist, that be me.

If you're looking for Amy Pronovost, the dancer, that is so not me.

You can find me at the following places:

Deviant Art

I'm keeping the old posts here because they're kinda cute, and predate my last cross country move (I'm in BC right now, moving back to Ontario)

Holy cow.

I went to create a blogger account only to find out that I had one. And it has 6 posts. I don't even remember writing the posts, or ever having had a blogger acount. I've got a terrible memory.

The period between the last post in this blog and this post was a rollercoaster ride. I had good times, and very very bad times. I think the bad times made me forget a lot of stuff, like this blog.

Now everything is very good again. I have a Graphic Design diploma, I've done official Star Wars art and I'm looking for work in new and exciting places.

Wow. :D

Well, in 3 days I am moving to Southern Ontario and I'm really looking forward to starting a new life. Some things will be the same, I'm still working for the company I work for up here, but I'll be telecommuting instead of going into an office. I don't mind that because it gives me the flexibility of working whenever I want and around my assignments and the like.

I'm almost packed, the movers are coming on Monday, everything will beready by then. I don't have a heck of a lot left to do, rright now I'm just making sure everything is in one room that is going with the movers and then sending things off to the Sally Ann.

I miss my friends terribly already, I'm going to make sure they have the address of this page so they can check it often.. :D Hi, Guys! I miss you all, and I want you to all come and visit me. We can have a big party at the family cottage and roleplay all night ;)

Yard sale time!

Well, I am moving very soon.. on the 31st, in fact. So I have a whole bunch of stuff that I need to get rid of. It's weird when you accumulate alot of stuff.. every move I've mafde so far, I haven't been constrained by space. Now it's different and I guess it was time to let go of some of this stuff. Recycling, giving it away and marking my beloved posessions for a yard sale came as easy as walking to me.

That's not to say I didn't reminisce a little, I did. Somethings got yanked out of the yard sale box but the vast majority (including almost all of my furniture) is up for sale to whoever gives the best offer. This ease in letting everything go is a new point for me. I realise now that most of this stuff is, well stuff and only the things with strong memories attached to them are staying. I still have more things than I should, but looking around at what I am bringing with me and what is being purged from my life is incredible. Even my computer desk is going, I get to sit on the floor for a week. Yay.

Time to sleep, now, and dream of a Yard sale.. hopefully I'll sell most of it and whatever doesn't sell gets donated to the Salvation army.

Out with the old, in with the new.

I love Agent, it's easily the best email software I've ever had. No annoying HTML messages, great for news and mail and it's small and fast.

Alas, Windows 2000 doesn't love Agent as much as I do (And the people that make agent haven't posted any updates on it in a long time, so I don't know if they love it.)

Happiness is opening a 64meg inbox into word so that you can salvage the last messages you downloaded before Windows 2000 decided to make your email software perpetually crash during startup so you can't even export the mail.

Only 5,463 pages to go. ;)

I'm moving to Eudora, with HTML turned off. Woot.

Even though Agent doesn't work, Win2k is still pretty sweet. If agent releases a new version, I'll more than likely migrate back.

Well, I'm starting to write in the BLOG now and I'll try to get some unique look to it. No promises, though. :)

In three weeks I'm packing everything up and moving. It's a strange feeling to squish everything you own into a 4x8foot Uhaul trailer, to recycle, sell, throw out or give away things that were once sacred to you and now just seem like worthless posessions taking up space. I'm hoping to have room to spare in the little trailer.

I am starting to get the pangs of nervousness forming, I'm leaving this place and not looking back. I will be closer to my family but I will miss all the friends I have made here. I'm going back to school, so I'll easily find new friends and where I'm going I'll have more opportunities than I do now.

After I graduate from college, I want to try to survive on my art. Emphasis on try. I'm sure I'll be able to do it, I may have to make some sactifices, but I've been making sacrifices for a long time to be able to pay for groceries while still indulging on computer stuff every now and again.

Time to go back to work, alas, I'll try to remember to update this blog, and to link it to my web site :)

I'm testing my nifty little blog!
